Last month, we swapped whiteboards for wine glasses and lesson plans for paintbrushes — and our very first Teachers Paint & Sip event was a huge success!
We invited a group of brilliant teachers from Manchester and the surrounding areas to an evening of switching off, getting creative, and having some well-deserved fun outside the classroom.
Hosted by our very own Sophie, Ruby, and Abi from the Discounts for Teachers team, the night was all about community, connection, and a splash (literally) of colour.
The activity
Instead of the usual blank canvas, everyone got a free tote bag to paint on — something they could actually take away and use. There was also plenty of pizza, drinks, and of course, a goodie bag to take home (because what’s an event without freebies?).
Why it mattered
Teachers told us how refreshing it was to spend time with fellow educators, share a laugh, and try something creative together.
Plus, they got the inside scoop on our new app 📲 — making saving money on the fun stuff (and the not-so-fun stuff) even easier.
