Before you know it, it’s that time of year again—back-to-school season is just around the corner, and the hunt for new school uniforms begins. But let’s be honest, the cost can really add up, especially if you’re buying for more than one child. That’s why we’ve done the homework for you and uncovered where to find the cheapest school uniform options out there. Plus, we’ll share some handy school uniform discount tips to help you save even more this year.

The Cheapest Place To Buy School Uniforms

Our research has found that ASDA is the cheapest place to shop for school uniforms, with Sainsbury’s at an extremely close second, whilst New Look is the most expensive.

We’ve focused our research on the best value options available for a 10-year-old, so prices could be even lower if you have a younger child. The selected items included a pinafore dress, a multipack of polo shirts, a pleated skirt, a knitted school jumper and school trousers.

The full set cost just £33 at ASDA but nearly double at New Look, priced at £63.95.

Sainsbury’s follows a very close second at £34, nearly an exact price match to ASDA.
